When I think of revising this essay I know the structure doesn’t make that much sense1- going from the present to the past to the present again. And it feels like the larger question is how can we make this text more relevant in the modern day? I dunno.
I love that you're trying. I feel like we've lost so much throughout history, from wars to censorship to even just fading, and knowledge is one of the most valuable things lost. Revitalizing old ideas is one way to grip tight to that knowledge and I really admire that your doing that.
